Who we are

CalmTypeQuiz.com is operated by CalmaSutra. This quiz is based on Rajesh Setty's CalmaSutras framework. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, please contact us at privacy@calmasutra.com.

What data we collect

When you take the CALM Type Quiz, we collect:

• —Your first name — to personalise your results
• —Your email address — to verify you are a real person and to send you your results
• —Your quiz answers — to calculate your CALM animal archetype
• —If you take the quiz on behalf of someone: their first name and email address
• —The referral code used to reach the quiz, if any

We do not collect payment information, location data, or any sensitive personal data.

Why we collect it

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

• —To verify your email address before you take the quiz (anti-abuse)
• —To calculate and display your personalised CALM Type result
• —To allow you to share and revisit your results via a unique link
• —To understand which CALM Types are most common (aggregate, anonymised analytics only)

Our legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interest (providing the quiz service you requested) and, where applicable, your consent at the point of submission.

What we never do

• —We never sell your data to third parties
• —We never share your data with advertisers
• —We never use your data for automated profiling beyond the quiz itself
• —We never send you unsolicited marketing emails

How long we keep your data

Your quiz results are stored indefinitely so that your unique results link remains accessible. Email verification codes are automatically deleted after 10 minutes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see below).

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you have the right to:

Cookies & tracking

CalmTypeQuiz.com does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. We use session storage (cleared when you close your browser tab) to pass your details from the sign-up form to the quiz. No persistent cookies are set without your knowledge.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the quiz after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
